MIT Jemmott Duncan


JemmottSDuncan2Jemmott Duncan was born to Pastor William and Eula Duncan in 1969. He was born in the Summer and he is a true outdoorsman who enjoys time in the Sun playing golf, fishing, camping, and playing with kids.

As a student-athlete Jemmott was able to receive a scholarship to play golf with the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls in Charlotte, NC. He was a graduate of Woodmont High School in Piedmont, SC where he led the team as one of few African American golfers at the time.

Jemmott successfully completed the dual-degree program with Clemson University and earned an Electrical Engineering degree. His engineering career began in 1994 with then newly built BMW Manufacturing in Greer, SC. Jemmott has served there ever since, including several multi-year projects in Germany. 

 

 

Jemmott is fluent in German and uses this to help explain God's word as a teacher. He works with the Education Ministry as Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher. He is also a Minister in Training with a focus on Financial Stewardship. He has served as a Deacon in the German church and as Trustee and Teacher in various other churches in which he has served.

Jemmott has 3 beautiful children to his credit: Lyrric, Londyn, & Jemmott, Jr. He is a loving father and neighbor who often does acts of kindness as the spirit moves him. He is a spiritual leader at his job as well as in his community and family.
